Troubled waters

Some excitement in the swimming pool this morning when the manager had to be called to remove some swimmers from the section allocated to our class.
 
Apparently, some are apt to get stroppy. It’s not unknown for some swimmers to become abusive, even violent when asked to follow lane etiquette. On one occasion the manager got assaulted and had to have two days off work.
Who would have thought swimmers would ever behave like this?
 
We are not immune to all this. The aqua aerobics class follow us and there is a weekly stand-off. They’re due to start at 1.30 and our lesson finishes at 1.30.
 
We wait until the pool clock registers 1.30 precisely before getting out. The aqua aerobics class stand in line silent, scowling at us. If they so much as dangle their toes in the water, we complain.
