A meal for myself

An early appointment was cancelled so I decided to take a nap as I was dead tired. But I shouldn't have. I woke up to the doorbell. It was the cab I had called. We only had twenty minutes to the Covid vaccination appointment at 15.06. The kind driver helped me to get my coat and my hat and my shoes and my wallet and my keys and my walking stick...

We made it on time. The nurses were on time. I got my shot. Now I have both the flu and the covid shots.

I was exhausted and hungry when I got home.
