Work To Be Done

I took a bunch of pictures in the backyard to try and document the overflow from the recent storm. Fast moving water, presumably from the street,  carved a hole under the fence next door and made its way through the maze of our raised planting beds. It was interesting to see which way the current went, bringing along all the bark from the paths and ending here on the patio. The paths themselves are a muddy mess. I’m planning to put all the chips back where they belong, and hope it doesnt happen every time we have a big rain.

In case you want to know: the stuff in the vegetable bed is collards and broccoli and kale.
