Glasgow Mela
Today, my friend Helen and I went to the Glasgow Mela in Kelvingrove Park. We went last year and really enjoyed it, so when I remembered that it was on, I suggested that we go again. The Mela is Scotland's biggest multi-cultural festival with acts, performances, stalls and food from all around the world, and it was so nice to see the park filled with families, couples, and groups of friends enjoying all that the Mela had to offer.
We had a wander about some of the stalls, ate some lovely curries and caught a few of the acts. This man was one of my favourites although we only saw a short part of his act. In case you can't make it out from the photo, he put a hook up his nose and pulled it out through his mouth! I also really enjoyed a group of acrobats who were performing directly opposite this performer.
