Stocking up

To the Goods Shed where I got hake for tea. I’ll egg and breadcrumb it though as a child it was a regular weekday meal with white sauce and mashed potatoes.
Also a pheasant for Sunday. Drumsticks. I’ll do with apricot glaze for tea and the rest for the freezer. I make stock so I will pack separate chicken wing and gizzard parcels for this to go in the freezer. Half a pig’s trotter will make it gelatinous. The chicken was from Waitrose and the trotter and gizzards from the Goods Shed. I haven’t seen gizzards on sale like this before. I regret when they stopped including giblets with the bird. EU rules????
