The blue dot.

No, I am not swimming in the lake! In this case the blue dot is the result of taking a photo into the sun. But for me a blue dot is often part of a useful App which shows a map of the Lake District with a blue dot to show your location. Needless to say it is a very bad idea to rely on it!
