Tiny Tuesday - Micro Circuitry

This is a macro shot taken with extension tubes of the initial circuitry encountered in stripping down my old Sony RX100 compact camera. The size of the actual subject is about 1cm square. I first bought one of these compact cameras about ten or more years ago and because I am so impressed with the image quality I have gradually upgraded the mark VII model because of its greater zoom range. It's an ideal camera to carry in your pocket and as many of my blips are taken during walks with the dog it is just so convenient. Much of the hassle in getting these super macro shots is in setting up your gear as you need to use a tripod , extension tubes and a micro positioning plate as focussing is all done through movement of the camera. I suspect you may be seeing more in this series as I delve further and further into this old camera. Hopefully I will remember to remove all the tiny dust particles before taking my shots as I failed to do with this image.
