Sleepy Shieldbug

Mishka and I went bug hunting in the garden this afternoon. Very few subjects to photograph. I got one or two midges and a planthopper nymph with its weird fibre optic tail. This dozy hawthorn shieldbug on a Prunus leaf is the best that I could do today.
