Shop Local

It’s tough sometimes, we like to support the local shops but when the book you want is for sale at £28 or £14 in the supermarket it becomes difficult. When the top you want to buy as a gift is only available at the size you want from the online store, or cheaper from an alternative supplier.
If the small local shops want our help they need to put some effort in themselves.
When purchasing the last book, again as a gift, who doesn’t love to read, I picked up one of these cards on a whim. Although I still have forty-four days to run until the end of the year I’m at sixty books completed it’s filled in and ready to hand back.

Another trip to the rugby club to meet the first decorator to quote for repainting. I gave the Athenaeum Club AGM a miss, no need to inflict the bug on anyone else.
