Back to Birmingham today for Len's four weekly infusion. I think we shall be glad when the trial finishes.

The day started drear and grim and continued in that vein. There were some breaks in the cloud, more particularly in Shepshed but of course, we weren't there. A new apartment block has risen above the skyline just beyond the Oratory.

The usual routine of stopping at Tamworth Services to buy lunch and a decent coffee.

I went down to Wex early in the afternoon to ask for some help on Kase Filters but there were too many customers and not enough staff. I wasn't prepared to stand leaning on my crutches so went back upstairs to join Len. As we were leaving, there was some lovely sunset colour in the clouds. You'll have to consult my Instagram.

We're getting recognised. The concierge at Hagley Road shares a joke and helps us park, and the ladies at Pret A Manger at Tamworth know Len and bring him his coffee.
