As a Mental Health First Aider I am trying to find ways to promote mental health wellbeing. Today I went for my first meditation session. I didn't find it easy as my brain was firing all over the place but it was an hour of calm and stillness instead of 10 minutes to eat my sandwich whilst answering emails.
I saw this mosaic as we were trying to find the centre.
Three things I'm grateful for:
- not being scared to suggest an event, even if no-one turns up
- lunchtime meditation close to the office
- smiling when I see my new driveway instead of feeling anxiety
