Barley crop

The forecast rain fizzled out and harvest goes on. This is our barley crop at home. I have been walking around it since it germinated so it is exciting to see it being stripped. There is an abundance of straw, which will be baled and in demand for stock feed, bedding, garden mulch. Probably also for impromptu seating at parties and photo opportunities.
