Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Ethan is loving being in Cullen. The cottage is just a few streets away from the harbour and beach which means it's only a couple of minutes walk and he can do lots of boat spotting. He's particularly taken with a green fishing boat but doesn't really understand why it's sometimes in the water and sometimes on the sand, depending on whether the tide is in or out!

We went for a wee drive today and found a gorgeous beach with a great swing park beside it just outside Banff. Ethan had great fun running in to the sea then back out again, shrieking loudly! Of course he's his mothers son so got pretty wet in the process!

We also paid a wee visit to the grounds of Duff House and found another playpark there which also kept Ethan amused for a wee while.

Back in Cullen I built a sandboat at the beach for Ethan and a sandcastle before leaving him with hubbie for a while so I could go for a run along the old railway line. What a view from the viaduct - really beautiful to be able to look out over the coast and village whilst running!
