Ducks
A drive to Ashford for J's wheelchair appointment filled most of the morning. This was useful and constructive, resolved a number of small but irritating issues, and we were pleased to be told that the height of the moulded back cushion can be reduced to allow the headrest to sit lower and support J better, though this will involve another wait for a further appointment. It remains to be seen how much this helps, but we were not confident that it would be attempted at all so on balance we are pleased.
On the way home we made a detour to the farm where we buy eggs, and I took a couple of quick photos of the ducks, mainly to show J, who could not see them very well from the car. Three of this group, I think including the two emerging from their paddling pool, are the young ducks which we met as fluffy yellow ducklings in August , and J always appreciates updates on their progress.
