Bamburgh beach

A quiet morning.  A walk along the coastal path width the hound.   The sea was much calmer today.  Read a bit in the morning. 

After lunch drove to Bamburgh for a walk on the beach.   The wind was very strong.  Sand was being blown at low level along the beach and diagonally to the shore.  It resembled ethereal vapour.

Saw a dead seal pup which saddened me.  Also among the seaweed as we entered the beach from the car park I saw two seagull carcasses.  I ensured Kyro stayed away from all.  

The beach was full of uprooted seaweed particularly further towards land.  I guess hurled up after this week's storm.

Another 'no cook' evening with takeaway curry tonight.  Yumm!

Kyro was very brave on the beach.   It must be a completely new experience for him.  I'm sure he was glad to be out of the wind and sand.
