Very much an emergency blip, albeit one of an almost seasonal nature. Apart from early on, the day has been dull and drizzly. 
Most UK robins do not live long enough to blow out a birthday candle.
The robin that Mary Poppins sang Spoonful of sugar to, was of the American variety, rather than European.
Hopefully the weather, and my blip, will be better tomorrow.
