Soglio

We drove to Maloja and down into the Val Bregaglia to Chiavenna.

Half way we did a 2.5 hour walk from Castasegna up to Soglio and back. The steep mountains and the light are always very special.

In Chiavenna we did our weekly shopping in the Supermercato Iperal and local fishmonger.

Cozze first and then Gamberi Argento with Zucchini burger for dinner at home.

Note for Munni: summer idea. Postbus from St. Moritz to Bondo, then the trail with stairs build in Roman times from Bondo up to Soglio (in the shade of the forest), lunch in Soglio Palazzo Salis. Walking down in the shade of the chestnut trees to Castasegna, bus to Chiavenna for a Prosecco or Italian dinner outside in the old town and back with the yellow bus from Chiavenna to St. Moritz. Of course, the entire Via Bregaglia is very scenic from Maloja down to Chiavenna. :-)
