THE CHASE

When a parent approaches the den with food,
Well, better get outta the way.
It's quite a scene.

All 4 kits become airborne,
In a race to beat the others to Mom or Dad.
Because first come is first served,
Actually, the only one served.

Once the meal is snatched,
It's getaway time, because
The other 3 are in hot pursuit.

We witnessed 3 Food Runs today.
1st - hamburger patty with cheese - snatched from a grill
2nd - magpie
3rd -unidentified (in this pic.) I suspect Dad snarfed a little for himself.
