What a day!

A bit of a day - needed to write it all down.

Worrying times - Dougie woke us all up at 4am barking, there was another dog barking nearby. Front bedroom window to see what the commotion was and saw a policeman and police dog walking by. Six more police searching our road, torches lighting up gardens and driveways.

Very unnerving, apparently the dog found one of the car thieves. There was another policeman and dog searching my front garden in the morning.

Sad times - Heard from S mid morning, her neighbour K agreed for his cousin T and her dog to stay with him until she could find somewhere to live. Unfortunately T has issues, very drunk last night, an altercation and the dog bit K.

Ambulance and police involved and T + dog somehow ended up staying at S’s house last night (a complete stranger to them).

The police arrested T and the dog was taken away this morning to be assessed.

He’s a staffie, his name is Tyson and I’ve been thinking about him all day. I just hope he passes the assessment and a less stressful home can be found for him.

K is awaiting surgery in hospital, poor S is exhausted by it all, I doubt we’ll hear what happens to T and Tyson.

The above events reminds me to be grateful for a relatively calm life.

Autumn leaves, my garden is full of them!
