Pruning By Moonlight

It was decided that the beech tree was getting too big and Mr Flum was to prune it hard this winter, once the leaves had fallen.

 He began a day or so ago with the twiggy stuff around the lower part of the trunk and has moved further up, still working as the light failed.
He was tidying up as I went out to offer coffee, noticing the moon, so took a couple of snaps.
