White Faced Heron baby

This baby has to be called “ lucky”. It taken out of nest by a hawk, mother heron kicked up such a noise, hawk dropped baby and flew away!!! Problem was baby left on ground to fend for itself. Too little for survival on its own, so a lady who had watched it all, intervened and brought it to us. Baby now knows if it opens its beak and shouts, someone will pop food in. Like a baby dinosaur!!!!!!!
