This explains a lot!

By a huge coincidence, our school is closed today and tomorrow so I don’t have to worry about calling in sick or setting cover and I should be OK to go back on Monday.

My husband is away for work and my daughter’s at uni, so no problem for them, but I’ve no idea how I’m going to tell my son. He’ll be devastated if he has to miss any of his police training.
