Worm Drive
We had a mini blipmeet over in Redditch at the Forge Mill Needle Museum. Dating back to the Victorian period it is a fascinating look into the working conditions as the changes brought about by the industrial revolution really did get going. The long term Health and short term Safety of the workers was not a priority!
Chrispybox and I had a look around the museum while Hildasrose, Mrs CB and Mrs G looked at an exhibition of fabric based artworks.
There was coffee and cake involved too ... no surprise there then!
My blip is a worm drive on one of the pieces of machinery used in the manufacture of the needles. Probably should be more closely meshed?
Chrispybox has a more general view of some of the tools.
Rose has blipped the light on the mill pond - the mill was water wheel powered.
Home at 16:00 via the M42/M40 and I didn't take the car out of cruise control!
