The Light Magnet

We visited Bewl Water today and struggled with it. It is a lovely reservoir, surrounded by woodland and, at this time of year, is free of the usual water sports. It was very peaceful and the weather was warm and bright.

But the light was actually very harsh and there was much building work going on which prevented us from going across the water and into the woods.

But we enjoyed our lunchbreak overlooking the water, dappled in the sunlight. 

I loved watching this boat as it appeared to be drawn across the water towards the sun kissed autumn tree. Even the bird above couldn't resist it.

The answer to yesterday's question was that it was a sunrise.
