It's Getting Worse

Day 2 of the Gas saga.  We now have big holes in the road at various points and they have just begun to dig a trench along the road directly outside Maison MD....Compressor running, pneumatic drill pounding and a digger scraping - quite a symphony ....
Tomorrow could be worse.  They are bringing some sophisticated equipment to ascertain whether they need to dig up our garden or not.  Gas (therefore heating) will be off all day.
Oh, such joy ....... :-(
