The west doorway.

We’d a walk around Linlithgow Loch before lunchtime. We walk here a lot. The next few days are cold; there was already an edge to the wind.

I’ve mentioned previously that our wee grandson is getting baptised at St Michael’s Parish Church located behind the Palace at the south side of the Loch; we detoured for a minute. The photo is the west entrance at St Michael’s; it is split into two double doors - research suggests a French influence. It may have been worked on by Thomas Frensch and his sons who worked on the church.
