Visit to the Dentist

Orla's teeth were healthy, but a little wonky at the front so we have been referred to an orthodontist in Glasgow for a potential brace.

The dentist thinks Conor may have hypomineralisation of his molars which makes him higher risk for developing tooth decay. Thankfully this higher risk is offset by the fact he has very little sugar in his diet for a child (still only drinks water and milk) so the plan is to monitor his teeth closely and only refer to the dental hospital for a full diagnosis if it gets worse.
