I was in Bedale giving a talk yesterday and I had time beforehand to peruse the antique shops. Somehow I came away with this for the princely sum of £20 - it’s accompanying me to the James Bond party tomorrow.

Meanwhile my friend has dug out photographic evidence of the last JB party twenty years ago - see extras. I was washing off gold spray paint for days afterwards.
