Sir Nigel Gresley at Portobello Sidings

One of six surviving LNER Class A4 steam locomotives still around. Named after the man who designed the class and holder of the post World War II steam speed record (112mph; the overall record is still held by another Class A4 - Mallard - which reached 126 mph in July 1938). Presumably, like Flying Scotsman which was here a while ago, up here for a special excursion.
