Deckchair anyone?

Beautiful sharp light all day today.
Clear skies, and sunshine.
We’ve been out today visiting some friends and having lunch at the King’s Arms, Knowle.
It is situated on the banks of the Grand Union canal. This photo was taken in their grounds. In the spring and summer months it is lovely to sit outside and watch the canal boats passing by.
The canal is just off to the left of the photo.
The sun is just slipping below the horizon.
As we were driving home the large almost full moon had appeared in the sky.
Now at 16:45 the sky is not quite dark, with that very pale blue luminescence over the western horizon.
The school opposite has all its lights aglow, and the street lamps have just come on outside.
It looks like it will be a cold night.
It has not been any higher than 7C in temperature today.
