Bridge

Today I was walking around a Carlisle toyshop choosing Christmas presents for my Grandson.  Instead of returning the usual way home I chose to go via the Solway coast through Bowness on Solway and other villages along this part of the coast.  At one time there used to be a bridge across  the Solway ending on the other side near Annan.  This is what is left of that railway bridge.
It was a beautiful day although a colder one.    I hope all have a good weekend.
