In space, no-one can hear you hoopla.

Games in full swing here now.  This is Pulsar 2849, one of my favourite 'SF' themed games, partly because it has so many different ways to score points.  

The thematic concept is a bit weird - putting rings around pulsars to provide energy for (presumably) Earth, but who cares, you can travel, explore, build power stations, build energy transmitters, aim for long term goals, etc.  and (and this is really where the challenge is) you only have 8 turns to do it all in.
