The moon

Waxing gibbous, 92% illuminated when this was taken.  Full moon (beaver moon) will be at 09:16 on the 27th.  I was watching the moon before it was dark tonight, as I drove back from the hen guardian's place.  It was appearing and then disappearing into the clouds.  However, back home in Aberdeen the sky was clear, so I grabbed some shots.  Just as well I did then, because the clouds have come in again.
