Rainbow Lorikeet and Bottlebrush tree

It's been raining a lot overnight with plenty more showers so far during Saturday morning and afternoon. I hopped on a very early CityCat over to New Farm Park to watch the  ParkRunners, then went on to South Bank which is usually thronging with people but was strangely quiet; the rain kept many people away.

Even the wildlife seemed to be keeping out of sight, though a few Rainbow Lorikeets were about.
