Having a Clean Up

It has been a cold day. The sunshine made it feel a little warmer. The high was only 14c.

We read in the newspaper this morning that my neighbour, Anita in Akaora had died. She wasn't much older than me. She was a really lovely person and would always have a chat when she was in Akaora. She lived in Christchurch. 

A neighbour across the road from us here in Christchurch phoned me this afternoon in shock as she knew Anita and got such a shock. They belong to the same club and had seen her a couple of days before she died. Said that Anita had just returned from the UK after spending two months there with her daughter. She told me Anita did have a heart problem and had just seen the specialist and he was pleased with her and all was well. I will miss her as she was such a lovely person.
