Today's blip was taken outside our front gate looking up the little hill in our street. I should say rather it was taken from outside where our gate was, as it fell off its rusty hinges during a storm last week. 
All properties that have dogs must be fenced in New Plymouth. Our last dog was a Scottish Terrier named Dougal and the fence didn't have to be too high to keep him in. For him the gate would've seemed  as high as a ten story building would be for us. It is being replaced by a slightly smaller one this week.
