Despite the frost......

There was a heavy ground frost this morning. Our central heating thermostat went off during the night, so the house was a tad on the cold side this morning. Thankfully, I have an oil filled radiator in Mum's bedroom, so she was nice and toasty warm.

It's been a lovely bright day. I spent time doing more clearing up in the garage.  The car boot if partly packed for a trip to the tip on Monday.

Despite the frost, the marigolds were still on good form. I'm not too keen on the way they sprawl around and take over the rose bed. (Last year it was nasturtiums who were the culprits.) 

I have to acknowledge that they are very cheerful and we are likely to see even more of them next year!
