Beams of early light
This is the view from our bedroom window just after 6.30 am. Venus is shining brightly, as are the lights of the city of London in the distance.
Once again I’ve not taken any other photos today, and the light had gone before I could take my camera out for a walk in the garden, so I’m glad I grabbed my phone to capture the beauty of the sky just before sunrise.
It has to be said that on more than one occasion today, Smithers has taken great pleasure in coming to inform me that he’s seen a wren in the back garden. I think this one will run and run … ;-)
"Aurora now had left her saffron bed, And beams of early light the heav'ns o'erspread." – Virgil’s Aeneid
