Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve

Having slept over, Sophie joined us for the Park Run, completing the full 5k with Tess for the first time in ages. Chris and I finished just as they completed their 2nd lap so we kept them company on their final lap.

Late morning we drove with Sophie to the nature reserve for a walk along the river then treated ourselves to sausage and egg baps at the cafe before taking Sophie home.

While we were walking, the wheels were coming off Yeovil’s unbeaten league run as they went down 4-1 away at Welling, who are in the bottom 4. A bit of a shocker.

Off to my sister and brother in law’s tonight for an unexpected dinner. Their dinner guests last night had to pull out and we got an emergency phone call this morning asking us to help them eat the meal they’d prepared!
