Saturday...

A lovely day forecast & so I met friends & went to Martin Mere. I love going here in the winter - mainly because of the whooper swans. But also because there are just lots of birds. Living in the uplands can be difficult in seeing birds.

Nicely cold & I watched a distant barn owl for 30 mins or so.
