Canoeing under a blue blue sky

Although there was a frost it was lovely to have a clear sunny morning with a blue sky. I took Libby for quite a long walk round the local area and was pleased to see lots of activity on the river today both canoeists and rowing. Also beach volleyball and football nearby too.

Later I popped into the local church Christmas Fair and bought a few things from the toy and book stalls plus raffle tickets etc. Some of the felt ornaments I had made were on sale from the craft stall.

Then we went to collect a children’s bike nearby I had found on eBay . They cost £310 new and I offered £90 which the chap accepted…didn’t do any bidding. It’s in good condition and actually has gears! The ones on Facebook Marketplace were more expensive and much further away. We have found that young children do not really use the bikes that much so they are in good condition secondhand. Also we can sell on after a year or so and get a good price!
