Bargain watches

Because we are intending to move house and the new house may be smaller, I feel I have to cut down on the vast number of books here. I came across a little book of signalling and thought it may have been my Father’s but it is dated 1916 so it probably belonged to his Father. My Dad probably made use of it too as he was a signalman in the Navy during the was. Having done telegraph work in the Post office he was an expert in Morse code and he was in the Boys Brigade and therefore also knew semaphore.
The little book is very tattered but all there. I do like the adverts . Imagine a silver watch for just over £3.
I will be keeping this one.
