Erith

I have been desperate to get out on my bike recently but sadly not really had the time, so this morning I was determined to fit in a ride.

I set off without a destination in mind and ended up in Erith, which isn't a place I had been aware of before. It surprised me as although there is quite a lot going on with the Dartford Crossing in the distance, some wind turbines, an industrial feel and the river either side of this pier - it was actually an incredibly peaceful place.

I stopped, ate a banana and headed back. It was nice to stretch the legs with a 40k ride and discover somewhere new.
