Vintage ice cream van

This is an exciting day. It's my birthday and I have a camera!!! It's been YEARS since I had a camera - the last one was a compact 35mm - it took FILM.

I have been thinking I should use something other than the iPhone for blipping, but I find taking a photo on the phone and using the app very convenient. However, this camera can send pictures to my phone, and then I can blip from there as usual.
How cool is that?? (It makes the tea as well. I wish!!)

This ice cream van was parked by Twickenham Riverside. It is about the right age to have been brand new when I was a child, so perhaps I should rethink the "vintage" in the title? :-)

It's been great to have a Monday off work. Me and Houblon have been for a run, eaten a late cooked breakfast, walked into Twickenham, had a pint in the White Swan, had coffee and carrot cake in Luluz, and there's still time left to plant a few plants and have a nice meal. A perfect, relaxing day.
