The Footbridge…

A beautiful sunny morning for an early walk…. A little later than usual. Pushed myself and paced out fast. We took a little break near the end for Maisie to have a paddle.
It’s hard to believe that during the floods in the Taylor River catchment last year the waters were streaming over the footbridge with only part of the guard rails in view.
I feel for the folk in parts of the east coast of the North Island having stormy weather this weekend with flooding and landslides and blocked roads. They have had more than their fair share of bad weather of late.
