Wasdale.

Our mountaineering club annual Wasdale gathering historically brings extremes of weather, from blistering heat to torrential rain and thunderstorms. This years weather forecast was giving a high risk of very heavy showers which curtailed some of the the more adventuress activities. After 6 hours of walking in the hills with no rain at all I feel that the met office owe us an apology. In fact on returning to the valley the clouds parted and gave us a great view back down to Great Gable and the other high fells of Wasdale.
