From an upstairs back window

Today was so hot I could swear it was summer. Mostly it was sunny but it rained twice and the second time, around 6pm, it provided a wonderful rainbow. We'd just got home so I was disinclined to head for the park where I could have found a good vantage point.

My extra is of a butcher bird in the jacaranda tree. I'd have preferred it to be closer and with not so many twigs around it but it didn't care about what I wanted.
