Toward the Brough of Birsay
A nice walk on the cliffs and shore of the bay. The tide was far out, so the shorebirds were distant, but included dunlin, turnstone, ringed plover, redshank, curlew, oystercatchers, teal, wigeon etc.
Pretty cloudy, but the sun shone from behind me at one point, shadowing some surf and shining on it further out.
