Bend in the Ribble

Here is Jasper being picturesque during a walk around the Bolton by Bowland area. We had hoped to go and look at King Henry's bath-tub or whatever it is, but since the publication of the guide we had, the ruins of Bolton Hall have become mews houses and so the grounds are now private. We did peep over the wall, mind. Shortly after this was taken, I was incredibly brave and walked through a field with cows in it and nothing bad happened. I was absolutely terrified the whole time though!

Have done a bit of processing on this to make the green look as lush as it did standing there - it was rather a dull day but lovely nonetheless, cows and mews notwithstanding.
