Beech trees

The beech trees have been neglected over the years and some have succumbed to storms and blown over - usually with the request that  T come up with his JCB and chain-saw and unblock the lane!  A former owner employed a tree surgeon to look at the remaining ones removing those that had rotted inside and others which had become unbalanced with their branches.  Hopefully these will remain for a while yet as they are so beautiful.
